This project involved a new building and a renovation for Cape Cod’s largest commercial winery. The new 4200 square foot facility houses the winery’s barrel fermentation room and finished wine inventory. The existing 2300 square foot processing building was fully renovated to adequately support the new facility. The renovation included ADA improvements, a new testing lab, and a revised interior plan to improve circulation routes within the complex.
The project employs several green building principles with the following features: high r-value enclosure assemblies, low-embodied energy structrual system, recycled content high durability siding, and high efficiency lighting and HVAC systems. The building is an expression of Truro Vineyards’ commitment to sustainability.
